• 1 packet of cake (filo)

• 200 g butter

• 500 g nuts, almonds, pistachios

• 1/2 cup sugar

• Cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg

Preparing baklava is very simple. For this we need the ingredients listed above. First we defrost the filo cake. We need chopped almonds, pistachios, walnuts and spices, which we mix with each other. In the meantime,we set the oven to 165 degrees Celsius. In the pot we melt the butter to grease the tin. We make 6-8 layers of filo cake and lubricate each layer with butter. The next step is to apply the previously prepared mixture, then we apply another two layers of dough and nuts. You proceed in this way until the mixture is exhausted. The final stage is the application of the last 4 layers of filo pastry.  The dough can be cut into triangles or squares. At your discretion you can add carnations and cinnamon or nutmeg. We bake them about 60-90 minutes it depends on the power of the oven and the number of layers. A sweet dish can be removed from the oven when it will blush. Enjoy it!
